About this complex

Newer boutique community of 90 units built in 2021 at 1890 S Country Club Way. Smaller and more carefully designed than the large complexes - each unit features gourmet kitchens with Energy Star appliances and granite countertops, walk-in closets in every bedroom, private balconies and patios, and select units have walk-in showers with separate soaking tubs. The fitness mezzanine with a dedicated yoga area is a standout amenity, alongside a resort-style pool and spa with a private cabana. Close to the light rail, Mill Avenue, and near major employers including GoDaddy, Viasat, and Freedom Financial. 1 to 3-bedroom layouts from $1,649/month.

Community notes

V on Broadway has a noticeably higher-end feel than most Broadway corridor complexes - the 2021 construction date shows in the finishes and the building condition is still relatively fresh. The boutique size means the pool and common areas never feel crowded, which is a real perk. It draws a mix of working professionals and grad students rather than a purely undergraduate crowd, so the atmosphere tends to be quieter and more settled. The fitness mezzanine with the yoga section gets solid use and is well equipped. Being near major tech employers makes it convenient if you're interning or working locally while at ASU. On the price side it's a step up from the average Broadway option, but the newer build and smaller scale make it feel worth it for the right person.

Kyle and Stephanie have been nothing short of perfect throughout the entire move in process. They provided reliability and transparency every step of the way. Apartment is beautiful!

This apartment complex unlawfully removes tenants and doesn’t properly manage lease contracts. Not pet friendly. Save your money and time and live somewhere else- ANYWHERE else!!! The people working in the leasing office are an absolute joke of human beings.

I was going to rent an apartment here at V on Broadway but ended up cancelling and eating the application fee cost because of Amanda and Kevin. Back in April I visited the complex and worked with Amanda. She showed me around, answered some of my questions and explained how to start the application process. She gave me a key to check out the actual apartment I was interested in and I was surprised when I entered. This apartment is “new” and unlived in but you can see from the pics how it was still torn apart. When I asked Amanda about it, at first she was confused and didn’t know why the apartment was torn apart, then she came up with an excuse that they were working on the apartment beneath it and forgot to clean everything up. She said It would be taken care of before I moved in. That should have been my first red flag to run far away from this place. That night I go and start my application online. I fill everything out, submit my payment info, etc.. the next day I get an email that I was pre-approved for the apartment and that they needed my income and residency verification. I’m self employed and have subleased for the last several years without paperwork so I called and left a voicemail inquiring about what paperwork would work for my situation. It took 4-5 days before they called me back. After figuring out what documents would work for me I emailed them to the leasing office. I never received a confirmation email or acknowledgment that they received my documents so after about 36 hours I called and left a voicemail just trying to confirm they received my documents so that my application could keep moving forward. After another 4-5 days of no call back, no email acknowledgment of my documents being sent, no calls to my landlords confirming my residency, etc.. I decided to cancel because of this is how they act when they are trying to convince me to pay them $16833.60 to live there for the year then how will they act if there’s actual problems in the community that might cost them money like maintenance issues? $16833.60 is just for one year so that could have easily double or tripled if I had a good experience and decided to renew my lease when it was up. $16833.60 is what Amanda and Kevin cost the owner of this complex because they would not do the bare minimum and just confirm they even received my documents to make sure the application was moving along. After I left a message about canceling they quickly called me back (twice) because I was working and missed their calls. They left voicemails just confirming that I wanted to cancel and then they sent an email. It’s amazing how quick they were to confirm my cancellation but couldn’t take 20 seconds to send an email or call confirming they received my documents instead leaving me in limbo for days. To be honest I feel that for whatever reason Amanda and Kevin intentionally ignored my calls and email. I’m a self-employeed professional making over 6 figures per year and this is how they treated me. Steer clear of this complex.

I moved from Gilbert to Tempe last year and have been living at V on Broadway since then. The approval process to move in took a little longer, but once everything was cleared, Stephanie and Vita were very professional and helpful with the move in they made everything so easy and smooth. The apartments look just like the pictures clean, spacious, and well kept. One thing I really appreciate is that Stephanie is always available if you have questions or need anything. She goes above and beyond to make sure residents are taken care of. Maintenance: The maintenance team is very responsive and quick to fix any issues. For example, last month my water heater started leaking after hours. I called Stephanie, and she immediately made sure it was handled. Eric, the maintenance guy, actually came back in less than an hour and replaced it that same night. That kind of service really shows how much they care about residents. Safety: The complex is very quiet and feels safe. There are cameras around and key access at the entrance. My wife and kids feel comfortable going to the pool and walking around the property. Parking: There’s plenty of parking, and you can choose between an assigned covered space or open parking on a first-come, first-served basis. Amenities: The community has a nice pool, grills, and a gym. While there isn’t a kids’ playground, Saleh Park is only about a 10-minute walk away, which works great for families. Overall, I’ve had a great experience living here. The apartments are comfortable, the staff is excellent, and everything from safety to maintenance has been handled very well. I’d definitely recommend V on Broadway to anyone looking for a place in Tempe.
