Units feature granite or quartz countertops, frameless-door tile showers, garden-style soaking tubs, in-unit washer/dryer, and private balconies. 1 to 3-bedroom layouts from approximately $1,275–$2,465/month.

What residents say

Community notes

The light rail access here is the headline feature and it genuinely delivers - if you don't have a car or prefer not to drive, Skye is one of the most connected spots in Tempe. You can be at the middle of ASU campus in about 10 minutes by train. The yoga and spin studio is an unusual inclusion at this price and gets good use from residents. The complex tends to attract health-conscious students and young professionals. One practical thing to be aware of: some residents have noted that renewal pricing can jump noticeably, so it's worth being proactive about your lease renewal conversation rather than waiting until the last month. The move-in process is generally smooth and staff tend to be responsive.

There are several hidden charges that were not clearly disclosed at the time of lease signing, which felt unexpected and lacked transparency. Additionally, I would like to share feedback regarding my experience with the property staff. On multiple occasions, I felt that the communication and treatment toward us, particularly as immigrants was unwelcoming and at times rude. While there were one or two staff members who were polite and helpful, the overall experience did not feel consistent or respectful. I am sharing this feedback in hopes that it can be taken into consideration to improve transparency and customer experience going forward.

I recently moved in here and Davarion made the process a breeze. He was very supportive and communicative throughout the process and made sure all my needs were taken care of. The property and the apartment itself are good. The alleys could be a little cleaner but overall I am enjoying my stay here until this point.

3/3/26 This review reflects my personal experience as a current resident. I did attempt to resolve these issues with the property manager Vanessa, but received no resolution. I was recently double charged approximately $1,900 for rent and related fees. It required multiple phone calls before I was able to reach someone, and the correction was not immediate. When significant billing discrepancies occur, timely resolution and proactive communication are essential. I waited since March 1st for the invoice to be corrected. During a phone call I had received today from Vanessa, the property manager, the discussion shifted from resolving the billing issue to addressing my tone after I mentioned a maintenance request for air filter replacement that had been submitted five days prior. The week before, I had gone to the office attempting to purchase replacement filters and was told a maintenance request would be submitted for me instead. Five days later, the filters still had not been replaced. Rather than focusing solely on next steps to resolve the billing and maintenance concerns, the conversation centered on how I was expressing my frustration. When I I attempted to document the call for my records (which is permitted under Arizona law), Vanessa hung up on me. I also want prospective residents to be aware that the CAM (Common Area Maintenance) charge fluctuates monthly. This means your total rent amount is not consistent from month to month — it just keeps getting higher. This variability was not explained to me at the time of signing, and it makes budgeting difficult when you cannot anticipate your full housing cost. Additionally, residents are charged $20 per month for a “concierge package” room. However, there is no actual concierge present, and packages have been stolen from the room. Because of this, I have stopped ordering packages to my own apartment out of concern they will not be secure. My first package from Amazon to this property “never arrived”. Paying an additional monthly fee for a service that does not provide consistent security or staffing is frustrating. Transparency and follow-through matter when residents are paying premium rates. Maintenance response times have not consistently met expectations. In addition to the air filter request, I have observed hallway cleanliness concerns, trash in stairwells, improper ventilation on the third floor of Building A, and secured-entry doors being propped open. Security is another concern. A portion of Building A is located outside the gated section of the property and requires fob access for entry; however, doors are frequently left open. Vanessa informed me that monitoring or enforcing door closures is not the responsibility of security personnel or office management. Security was a primary factor in my decision to lease here. As I am someone who lives alone part of the year. During my tour and lease signing, the ButterflyMX system and controlled fob access were presented as key features, and I expected consistent enforcement of those measures. My bf and I have personally observed the assistant manager allowing individuals into the office after hours (2am to get coffee and hot chocolate) which raised concerns for me regarding consistency in policy enforcement and professionalism. There have also been inconsistencies with lease documentation. My boyfriend and I signed one version of the lease and later received a copy that included additional information not present in the original document we have on our files. When I raised this concern, I was told the system would not allow for such changes. I have retained copies of both versions and proof showing both emails from office staff with the attached documents. At $1,745 per month (base rent $1,435 for a 1x1), I expected clearer communication, consistent billing practices, and more timely maintenance follow-up. I am providing photos to document the concerns referenced above. These issues have been ongoing for months. I truly hope these matters are addressed promptly for both current and future residents.

I’ve lived here for almost 2 years and this place actually felt like home. Never had any complaints about the property, safety and the service that was offered during my stay was amazing. Rob who’s the assistant manager has been super helpful, such an awesome guy to reach out to when you are in need of any help or assistance with your apartment. You’ve been amazing Rob! Huge shoutout out to you man!

I lived at Skye at McClintock Station for nearly a year, and my experience was consistently frustrating due to mismanagement, maintenance issues, and unsanitary conditions. When I applied, I was verbally promised a specific unit layout, but upon move-in I was given a completely different unit. Management handed me a map and told me to find the unit myself, even though I had never seen the property before. The unit was missing blinds (management told me to buy a curtain), no showerhead, and a leaking bathroom sink that took over a week to fix. Urgent repairs — including a non-draining dishwasher, backed-up kitchen sink, and a jammed fire exit door, were often ignored despite repeated emails, calls, and emergency voicemails. Maintenance sometimes came, but communication was minimal,no schedules, updates, or confirmation of completed work. The property suffers from serious cleanliness and security issues. Dog feces were left directly in front of my door, and I had to contact management multiple times requesting proper cleaning due to it being a health concern and something that could easily be tracked into residents’ homes. Only after threatening to report a health code violation did staff come and clean it, and it was wiped up with a disposable wipe rather than being properly sanitized. Human urine was also present in the hallways, and trash, furniture, and garbage were frequently left by other residents. Management claims that a professional cleaning company comes weekly, but this was not accurate — hallways were left unsanitary for extended periods of time. There are no cameras on the property, which contributes to residents leaving messes without accountability. I suggested installing cameras, but management refused and still failed to clean up messes in a timely manner. The security gate rarely works, creating additional safety concerns. Management is unprofessional and frequently ignores calls and emails until you escalate or threaten city code enforcement. While the property itself has potential, misrepresentation, poor maintenance, lack of cleanliness, unsafe conditions, and unprofessional management made living here stressful and inconvenient. I cannot recommend this property to anyone who values honest leasing, functional maintenance, clean common areas, or secure access.
