About this complex

Premium Mark-Taylor managed community on Apache Blvd with studio through 3-bedroom units finished to a high standard. Per-person rates run higher than the all-inclusive complexes, but the individual quality shows: granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, wood-style flooring, and large floor plans. The resort-style pool has private cabanas and a tanning deck, and the fitness center is well equipped. Located directly on the light rail with an easy shot to ASU's main campus. Parking is available in a dedicated garage. Pet-friendly throughout.

What residents say

Community notes

Nexa markets itself as luxury but the experience does not always match that label, depending on when you move in and which floor you are on. Common area cleanliness has been inconsistent — some residents report hallways and trash areas being well-maintained while others describe recurring issues. Management responsiveness varies; some residents have had smooth experiences while others found follow-through on requests to be slow. The amenities themselves — gym, pool, EV charging — are genuinely good when well-maintained. At the price point Nexa charges, it is worth doing a thorough walkthrough of common areas during your tour and asking current residents about their experience before committing. Units with good natural light and views on higher floors tend to get better reviews.

Avoid this place at all costs! The management transition between Greystar and Mark-Taylor has been a complete nightmare for residents. I moved out on 12/13/2025, and they have failed to return my security deposit within the 14-day legal limit required by Arizona law (A.R.S. § 33-1321). Instead of resolving the issue, both companies are playing "phone tag" and "email tag." Mark-Taylor keeps telling me to contact Greystar, and Greystar completely ghosts all emails and calls. It is incredibly unprofessional to make a former tenant responsible for their internal accounting mess. If you are a student or a professional looking for a stress-free living environment, LOOK ELSEWHERE. They will take your money happily but will ignore you once you move out. I am now forced to take legal action in Small Claims Court for double damages. Save yourself the headache and do not rent here!

This is one of the best communities to reside in, and I'll tell you why: - The apartments are spacious. - The amenities are excellent and well maintained. - If you have any issues and raise a request, they usually take care of it within 4–5 days. - Taylor from the leasing office is always helpful and knowledgeable. Just go to her, and she’ll quickly resolve any apartment or community-related concerns. All in all, it’s a great community—there may be a few minor shortcomings here and there, but it’s definitely one of the best.

I’ve only been living here for 2 months now, and so far I’ve been loving it. The front desk staff, specially Jennifer was super helpful and friendly since day one. She took me on a tour of the building, showed me around and answered all my questions and she went out and beyond to find me an apartment that meets my needs, and she did!! She was very helpful and made the process very smooth and easy specially for international student, the process can be a bit overwhelming. She was very caring and even after renting, she constantly made sure that I was enjoying my stay and feeling comfortable. This woman always greets me with a huge smile. Thank you Jennifer!!

I've had a wonderful experience here at Nexa. I lived here for over 3 years with no complaints or issues, just many great memories. Leasing office staff were always very helpful and professional. Jennifer was able to assist me with any questions I had around move out, and assist with my transition to another Greystar Property. I am excited to continue my future within Greystar!

Avoid this apartment at all cost if you care about your health and mental wellbeing. They promise premium experience but are tone-deaf when it comes to getting basic appliances fixed. My refrigerator stopped working 4 times in a month and they just kept replacing the some part again and again hoping it’d work. The refrigerator would not cool down to the optimal temperature which poses a health risk if the food is consumed below 40 F. Further on, I had to throw away 100-200$ worth of food every single time my refrigerator stopped working and there was no intent shown to reimburse it in any of the ways even after I shared pictures and an estimate. I had to spend hours along side my day job to follow up on the issues just to end up with unhelpful generic response from the leasing team
