About this complex

Studio to 3-bedroom community on S Jentilly Lane, about an 11-minute walk from ASU's main campus and directly on the Orbit bus route. Units come with in-unit washer and dryer, and the community has two swimming pools, a clubhouse with free Wi-Fi, an internet café, and a bike rental program - great if you want to skip the parking hassle. Covered parking is available for an extra monthly fee. Pet-friendly for cats and dogs up to 40 lbs. Rent runs $1,162–$2,699/month depending on layout, with floor plans named Verde (1 bed, 740 sq ft) and Agave Suite (2 bed, 1,250 sq ft) among the options.

What residents say

Community notes

Agave has a recurring pest issue that shows up consistently in resident feedback — roaches in common areas and some units. Management has addressed complaints with pest control treatments but results have been mixed based on resident reports. If you tour, ask specifically about the pest control schedule and check common areas like laundry rooms and trash areas. Beyond that, the complex is reasonably priced for Tempe and the resort-style amenities are a genuine selling point. Not the right fit if you have low tolerance for pest issues, but residents who stay on top of cleanliness and seal food properly report manageable experiences.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who helped us so much throughout this entire process of getting into our new place. Everything went smoothly, and the communication was fast and responsive from start to finish. I also want to give a special thank-you to the gentleman who helped me during the apartment tour and guided me through the application process—even while I was struggling with internet issues and people coming in and out. Your patience meant a lot. A huge shout-out to Amy as well—she was truly on top of everything. She helped us so much, always answered our questions, and kept us updated every step of the way. Thank you all! You really made my week, and we’re so happy to be part of the Agave community this coming December 2025!

Amy was our leasing officer and helped us out so much during the leasing process!! It was our first time moving out and she was a really big help, we’re now 3 months into our lease and it’s going great! Went out of her way to show us units that we wanted and move a bunch of dates around for us, super grateful! Appreciate you Amy!

Bad management, old building and cockroaches. These apartments are decent but so poorly managed that they are not worth renting. To their credit the pools and public areas are clean and in order but that is where about where the positive things end. The units were recently remodeled which is technically correct but the quality of work is not stellar. From poorly designed cabinetry, fridge cubby that prevents customization of fridge shelving, un-even flooring. These apartments are aged with low insulation value in the walls single pane glass windows and inefficient A/C you are almost constantly hearing the blasting air as it goes through the short ducts. That is assuming the mechanical unit is working. The sink does not drain and despite the 6 maintenance requests still does not work. In the winter they change the water lines from cool to hot so you will not have access to A/C so when it is still hot in the winter you are SOL. You also pay an electric fee to them and electricity to the company so two electricity fees the icing on the cake. Don't live here. Good day

I moved here about two and a half months ago after reading the reviews, and everything I saw turned out to be accurate. I set an appointment and was contacted immediately, which really impressed me. Their communication and resourcefulness were excellent throughout the process. Darcy was awesome, and so was her team. I truly enjoy living here—the community is safe, quiet, and welcoming.
